Join Us for the Beacon Orthopaedic Research & Education Foundation 9th Annual Golf Outing!
The Beacon Summit Woods campus located in Sharonville, Ohio, is home to the Beacon Orthopaedic Research & Education Foundation, Inc. The Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to support scientific research as well as the education of orthopaedic medicine and procedures. Included in the Foundation’s focus is to advise, assess, and enhance the advancements of new technology in orthopaedic surgery, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. Additionally, the educational programs supported by the Foundation will be targeted to physicians, health care providers, and the general community to increase their awareness and understanding of the latest breakthroughs in the prevention and treatment of orthopaedic disorders and injuries.
Since the fall of 2012, the Foundation has developed a flagship educational outreach program - The Scholastic BioSkills Lecture & Lab Series. This program has impacted over 60 high schools and universities in the Cincinnati area. Over 8,300 students have attended anatomy lectures hosted by Beacon Physicians and over 7,400 select students have participated in cadaver dissection in Beacon's BioSkills Lab. This program is unlike anything offered in the region and is truly life-changing for many students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Your support of the Foundation Golf Outing helps fund this world-class educational opportunity for talented Cincinnati students.
EVENT INFO:
We are excited to be hosting our 9th Annual Beacon Golf Outing at TPC River's Bend with a morning and afternoon, scramble format.
Golfer Registration includes greens fees, golf cart, gift bag, driving range warm-up access, beverages, light breakfast (Group 1), lunch (Both Group 1 & 2), evening hors d'oeuvres (Group 2).
Day of event:
Group 1 (7AM-2PM):
*7:00am-7:45am - Check-in for Group 1 participants, breakfast is served, driving range available for warmup
*8:00am - Group 1, scramble format, shotgun start
Complimentary beverages are served on the course throughout the day.
*12:30pm-2pm - Group 1 participants finish golf, eat lunch and morning prize ceremony commences.
Group 2 (12:30PM-7:30PM):
*12:30pm - Group 2 participants will arrive at check-in.
*12:30pm-1:45pm - Group 2 participants can use the driving range to warm up and eat lunch.
*2:00pm - Group 2, scramble format, shotgun start.
Complimentary beverages are served on the course throughout the day.
*6:30pm - Group 2 finishes golf. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and afternoon group prize ceremony commences.
